Jem and Scout

I think that the characters Jem and Scout were portrayed perfectly in the movie. Jem with his southern accent , always trying to be the leader, and always telling Scout what is right and wrong. Scout with her tomboy haircut, overalls, annoying southern accent, and always asking question. What is your opinion on how they were portrayed?

I think they were portrayed right on...I especially love Scout in the movie. That is exactly how I pictured her..always asking questions with her sort of high pitched voice and all. I think she is adorable in the movie..Jem was how I imagined him to be also in how daring he was and living somewhat on edge. Sooo overall I think they were portrayed well.

I think they did amazing job of portraying the characters in this movie, expect Dill, I picture him different. Dill, I picture to be some chubby little boy, who likes to get into trouble. I like Scout with her short boy cut hair look and always wearing the overalls. She hates the dresses! Go Scout! Jem seems to be clean to me. He does not dress the way a boy would, sometimes. He acts like a boy but he seems like he cares about what he look likes. I thought of him being a messy boy, with drit under his fingernail, and his hair not nicely cut.

I do too. But i pictured Scout a little more smaller than what she was in the movie. Jem was about right though. Dill on the other hand, i pictured to be a little more bigger almost the same size as Jem..just a little smaller.

I think that Jem was definentally portrayed right! He was so cute and very believable! I pictured him exactly like that when I was reading the book! Scout on the other hand I thnk was portrayed really well because her character was very easy to believe, but i pictured her as more attractive. When I watched the movie I didn't like Scout as much because I pictured her as looking different, and the movie let me down with her image.

I definitely think that they were able to find fitting childrent o play Scout and Jem and they portray them very well in the movie. They are bothe exactly how i pictured the when I read the book. Dill, however, is a different story. I feel like they could have found a different child to play his character because in the book i found his character very interesting and not at all annoying however in the movie it was hard for me to even look at him.
