I actually think this is a very good picture for her! I definitely think that she is that uptight and stern and wants everything her way or no way. However, I don't think she probably will make Scout do chores instead of allowing her to go to the ball. I actually think she would make her go AND wear a dress :)!
Very true Captaincrunch! This picture does suit her well! I also do think that if a ball was in the story, Auntie would have made her go and wear a dress than do chores. I will tell you what! That is a pretty sweet deal. Who wouldn't want to go to a beautiful ball and wear a dress, instead of doing a butt load of chores! I mean I feel that way at least. Good post!
That is a perfect picture for Aunt Alexandra. I can't stand either one and I also agree in the thought that she would have made Scout go to the ball and were a dress of her choice; although I'm sure Scout would have made a case.
With the way that Aunt Alexandria is trying to make a lady out of a tomboy , I think that Alexandria would force Scout to go to any sort of ball just to put her on the spot. But I also think that Scout would find her own way to drive her Aunt crazy too! That's the way their aunt-niece relationship goes, I guess.
