Aunt Alexandria: B**** or Witch?

Judging by what scout says about Aunt Alexandria you have to wonder a little about her true identity.

I think most people would agree that Aunt Alexandra is not the nicest person in the world, but I think she does have some redeeming qualities. I think she deeply cares about how the children are being brought up, because she deeply cares for the children. I also think she truly cares for their family because the pride that she takes in the Finch name. I am not saying that I think she is completely a nice person, but i think she does have some goodness in her deep down.

I do agree with homestar runner. Everyone or most of everyone has a little niceness in them or a little bit of compassion, even if they seem like the rudest ones in the world! I think she cares deeply for her family too because who would take pride for their family name, if they didn't care about their family! She probably does have some good in her. Lets give her a chance.

I think that Aunt Alexandria is definatly a witch at first, but at the end of the book I relized that she can be nice if she wants to. She is a fighter and doesn't give up, especially with Scout. No matter how many times she fights and argues with her and she still trys to get Scout to become a lady.

Hmm...well partner, I think shes more of a B**** because I don't think she does that naughty stuff that you're not supposed to do. By that I mean Witchcraft. I think shes a little over-protective and wants scout to uphold her family honor or whatever by acting more like a girl. I personally don't approve of this because I was far from acting like a girl when i grew up, so I don't care how children act as long as theyre not loud and obnoxious and rude (I wasn't, really).
