Who Would be Your Character

I was reading the book the other day and I was wondering what character would be most like me. I thought really hard and came up with the conclusion that i was a little of Scout and a lot of Atticus. I'm very ambitious but yet I'm kind. What would your character be and why?

I would be Boo because he is a nice guy, but a little creepy. I think Boo is just a little misunderstood throughout the story. Everyone thinks he is just a crazy man, but he is just different than other people.

probably Calpurnia. I yell...a lot.

First of all, thats a very bad attitude to have of the situation. Boo sounds like a very nice person who just needs a friend. You know weve all been there; rather it be the first day of school in a new school or the weird kid at school that always smells. youve got to feel for boo in one way or another. Do you think you could be boos friend?

shake who the heck are you talking to? i think i would be most like Jem because he is a hip and cool guy that slowly matures throughout the story. As for the question about being friends with Boo, of course i would try but im not sure if i would be able to get close to him the way he acts; but i belive he is a good guy.

I would probably be Jem because I am the oldest child in my family and Jem is really cool so I would be him.

I would be Tom Robinson because he is black and he has bad luck

I think I am most like Atticus because I stand up for what I think is right.I wouldn't care if the whole town thought what I was standing up for was wrong. Also I like to settle my arguments through words not violence, just like Atticus. Finally I like to read a lot.

I think that I relate most to Boo'd father because I got stabbed in the leg when I was younger. I have felt his pain.

...and yes I think I could be Boo's friend, Master Shake.

Boo's

I also relate to Atticus the most. He isn't afraid to stand up for what he thinks is right. Also he is a respectable person, because he didn't back down when he got a hard job(working with the black man).

I also think that i could be boo's friend. It is obvious he just needs someone he can talk to.

I'd have to say that I am a whole lot like Atticus. Atticis is very modest and quiet, and isn't by any means a boisterous person. I'm pretty modest and I'm not extremely loud. I believe that I'm somewhat like Jem too, I love to learn, and I am very gentlemanlike just like Atticus and Jem. I also work hard to do things I don't even want to do, like Atticus defending Tom Robinson.

What are you talking about Master Shake?

I would probably be Jem because he is mischevious and fun when he was little. However, he slowly matures throughout the story. He learns when to swallow his pride and take what insults are thrown at him about his father, because he knows that it is better than throwing insults back. I would like to think I'm at least a little like that.

I think I am most like scout...just like her whole deal with not wanting to wear dresses and whatnot. She is growing/grew up with 2 guys. I did too. I am constantly hounded to go look pretty and quit looking like crap, but I don't really care...when i was little..I still don't wear dresses and rarely do i wear skirts. It's not my thing. But i will if i have too. Just like when Scout does

I really like Scout's character. I think I might be her...but actually, she reminds me a lot of my sister Alicia. She is 12 and won't wear a skirt, dress or anything pink. Howeever, she will straighten her hair and mess with her clothes in front of the mirror, and do other things to show that she has a girly side too.

Scout is the same way. She is definitely a tomboy, but she has a girly side, especially when it comes to her affection for Dill. She says. "Summer was...Dill's eyes alive with complicated plans to make Boo radley emerge, summer was the swiftness with which Dill would reach up and kiss me when Jem was not looking..."

To tell the truth, none of the characters match me what so ever. I would be Boo's friend, but actually having a character be like me, not going to happen. No one is anything like me in this book. If I HAD to choose, then it would be Atticus, because he uses his head, as do I. He thinks before he speaks, and he can get out of situations with a nonviolence form. This is the closest resembalance towards me any character has achieved in this book.

I think I'm probably most like Scout. She kind of over thinks certain situations which makes her a little afraid to do them but she is willing to do them anyways. She also doesn't want to be thought of as a "Girly-Girl" and neither do I. We are both up for adventures and games and things eventhough that sometimes we might be nervous to do them.

I would have to say that I would definetly want ot be Jem. He is adventurous, and it seems like he alwys wants to have fun and go do something with the Radley house or something of that sort. I also think I have a little bit of Atticus in me aswell because I like to just lay loose and let some things happen the way they are going to.

I think I would be most like Atticus because I am still a nice person, but I am not afraid to speak my mind. I don't let people get the best of me no matter what the case. Atticus is a real strong person, and when he gets the job of working with a black man, he lives up to it and takes the job, ignoring all of the bad things people have to say about him. It didn't matter the color of the person, they needed defended, and he was going to do it!
