WHO DUN IT?!?! BOO DUN IT

I believe that Boo Radley is the one that drove the knife up Ewell's ribcage. It only makes sense! He saw the struggle outside and grabbed a steak knife and did away with Mr. Ewell. Do you think that Boo Radley killed the attacker, or did he himself in a drunken mess fall on his own weapon?

I think that Boo did kill Mr. Ewell. I think all along Boo has been looking out for the children and when he saw Mr. Ewell after the children that night, he grabbed a knife and killed him. At the beginning of this blog most of us decided that Boo was a good guy and wanted to be friends with the children. Even though we haven't heard much from Boo in a lot of the later chapters, I think all along he was watching out for the children. I hope it was Boo that killed Mr. Ewell, because that is awesome.

Yeah Boo definantly killed Mr. Ewell, the only reason the sheriff didnt say that was to keep trouble down. No one really cared that Ewell died and it was even better that Boo did it because it just proved to the kids that he was not a monster or pedophile he was a VAMPIRE. I mean really, who else could have night vision enough to see Bob attacking the kids, and also how was he able to get there so fast? because it was night time. Thats the end of the story Boo is a grade A vampire!

Boo was definitely my first assumption. I think that there is a slight possibility that he did it himself but i really think that Boo did it. Those last few chapters were by far my favorite chapters in the whole book. There was a lot going on and it kept me interested throughout the rest of the book. I loved how Scout was talking about what had happened and then pointed at Boo and said something along the lines of ask him who he is. Then she paused a second and said, "hey Boo," just like she had always wanted to and dreamt about. I knew it was Boo before she said it but it just made the story that much better for me.

I agree with the post above me. I think that Boo was the person who stabbed Mr.Ewell. I agree with ichigo that the reason that Heck Tate tried to cover it up is that no one carried that Mr.Ewell died and that no one carried if Boo killed a drunk like Mr.Ewell to save two kids. I don't think Boo was a vampire though.

I do not think that Boo killed Mr. Ewell. I think that it was a accident like they said. It is a possiblity that Boo did kill him, but I also think that he really did accidently kill himself. The explanation about the tree trunk makes sense. I am runnig out of time in class so I can not put the exact quote.

I believe Scout killed him. Scout was hired by the C.I.A. to kill Ewell to get rid of backwoods folk. It says on page 128.

In my opinion Boo most likely did kill Mr. Ewell. I also think it was unnecessary to kill him. Boo is a very large man and could easily take on Mr. Ewell with a knife. However, to me Boo probably just got caught up in the moment (you know with being outside and everything).

I don't think Boo killed Mr. Ewell. If he did he could have said something. He was on the porch when Atticus and the sheriff were talking. Its not like he would have been arrested if he had killed Ewell. The fact is Ewell was a drunk and it was finally the death of him.
