Mr. Raymond, Drunk?

So in reality, Mr. Raymond was not drinking an alcoholic beverage after all. I was not totally shocked, but his reason in acting drunk, and eluding everyone to assume that he was drinking liqueur did surprise me. Of course, I understand exactly what he is going through. I have been doing something similar with my lifestyle, just to cover up the truth. Would you do it? Have you ever done it?

Well, back then drinking coke would almost be the equivelent because there was so much drugs in the Coke it actually effected your motor skills, thats why it was sold in drug stores. That is besides the point though, to answer the question. I actually try not to do this kind of thing, playing into steryotypes is one of the worst things a person could do. It is really bad when a person feels they have to act a certain way because that is how people think they should act, it should be the other way around we should act exactly like we want to and thats the end of it.

I don't think Mr. Raymond should try to cover it up he shouldn't care what people think, even though he is probably scared. I have never tried to cover anything I don't think thats the right way to live.

Sweet. I know what you mean. Stereotypical prejudice. Totally pointless. The human race is so demented that it is not even funny anymore.

I like that Mr. Raymond acted drunk. I think it was a good idea and he could get away with a lot of stuff acting drunk.

But isn't that the easy way out? Also, he shouldn't be ashamed of being who he is. You know???

I believe if you can’t act the way you want to, with out the aid of something else, it shows that you are a pathetic person and you must be too afraid of what other people think that it affects the person you really are. Mr. Raymond must have caught a stereotype and thought that it was a better way to live. Hey, Kaminous the Great, go easy on the human race we have and will always stereotype people it is just human nature. To get away from the stereotyping people just need to adjust to a way that they can reach more people and get there views more mainstream.

Did you know that during the great depression one of the only companies to make a profit every year was Coke!

Thanks for that stat you gave us there jesus! I think that Mr. Raymond should just be himself and should not try to act like he is drunk if he really isn't. All it seems like he was doing was trying to get attention. If some people don't pay attention to you the way you are, then they don't ever deserve to have you as a friend! You should except everyone the way they are, and if you don't agree with the things they do, try to put in an effort to help them, don't just ignore them. I think Mr. Raymond should be ashamed of himself because of how he is trying to change the way he is! Everyone is there own person and you don't need to change or hide it in any way to get attention or impress people! I think it is just plain stupid when people do that. If you are that insecure with yourself that you have to change to impress other people, then you might as well get ready for a very rough and troublesome life! It's not that hard to be yourself! Someone will eventually see the good in you and accept you the way you are!

I think the reasoning behind why Mr. Raymond pretended to be a drunk is because he doesn't care what other poeple think. Mr. Raymond whats to be left alone and not have people butting into his life. If this means he has to appear to be a drunk then that is what he is willing to do for his privacy.

I mean no disrespect to anyone that has ever changed to impress anyone before, or is trying to hide who they really are! I just think you can show your true self and someone will accept you the way you are. God allows you to make mistakes in your life, but he also leaves you time to fix them. Just don't change who you are, goodness knows that has happened a lot this school year. It really is such a saddening thing to watch. To see your good friends go from one person to another in a blink of your eye! Just be yourself! That's all I am saying!
